My first attempt using Scrapblog! Ultra cool! I always wanted to do scrapbooking but it takes lots of time and effort and also, it's expensive. Now I can have the joy of scrapbooking in a 'cheaper' way. Wait till I get all my real scrapbooking stuff together! Haha!

Today I drafted out 2 replies and was contemplating which one to send it out. By the end of the day, I sent out the latter, my 2nd draft. It says...

Dear Encik ABC,

Firstly let me apologise for not replying sooner as I was caught up with work in the office. I would like to thank you for considering me for the position of a XYZ.

However, due to some changes in my current workplace, I have been reassigned to new job responsibilities and functions, which I am excited to venture and work on at the moment.

Therefore, I would have to decline your invitation to attend the interview for the said position as I have decided not to move on from my current company just yet. However, I do hope that an opportunity will arise again in the future for me to be considered for a position in your company.

I sincerely apologise if I have inconvenience you in any way and hope to hear from you again in the future.

Looking back at it... I think I made the wise choice for now. No doubt the challenges at my current place is an uphill task, but if things are moving forward to what is currently being planned out, it will be a sweet success at the end. A long and painful 3 years struggle to be heard. Of course I am not going to expect super wondrous results immediately but well, an inch will be satisfying for now...

Q&A of a Cranky Monday...

Q : What makes Monday blue?
A : Well, it IS the 1st working day of the week?

Q : What can make it worse?
A : When first thing in the morning you are greeted with work which was needed by the afternoon, after a decision was made on late Friday meeting. Plus, it's just a 'favour', but a 'compulsory' favour.

Q : What else gets on your nerve?
A : When extra work needs to be done for a project which could have started years back, if the budget has been approved, instead of getting slashed for each year (means no budget for the project that financial year) and then suddenly when server crash everyone so concern and because there is no money initially budgeted after being slashed there is a whole hoolaballooo of management paper to write for approval to request unbudgeted budget which needs to be explained and signed by numerous parties and as a whole the entire situation is pretty farked up. So next time to the management / boss / to-whom-it-may-concern - when budget is requested, there is sure for a reason, not to take the money to go gallivanting or to go for holiday (no matter how much I want to)... Save so many people the hassle and I can do better things with my time! Waste of resources! ARGHHH!!!

Q : Anything else to add?
A : Yes, when there are suddenly so many opinions to something which was never bothered before, adding to the already heavy workload, making me confused and irritated! So, which boss to follow?

Anyway, to cheer up the end of my workday, got a belated birthday present from Mamma Donna!

I just downloaded the latest Picasa 3 and playing around with the features while waiting for the software to scan my hard disc. I so heart the variety of collage design they have in this new version.

It was the first day of Hari Raya.

And the last day Nikki was with us.

She's always so curious to what's happening on the outside. When we travel at night, she wakes up when we pass an exit because of all the bright lights. And those days when I had to wind down my window at the toll gate, she will be sniffing next to my ears. But she is a good passenger. Very well-mannered in the car.
