First thing first. Read the news of the recently departed Heath Ledger. Shocking. I so lurve him when he was in 10 Things I Hate About You... especially the marching band scene... Have to go watch that movie again... Where's my VCD now?

Sad news aside. Been busy the last couple of weeks. Had loads of relatives staying at my place, one after another... In the office, all the work and events happening piling up and overlapping one another... phew!
So, what have I been doing? Here's some idea.
10 January 2008 - Sunway Lagoon with Kristos
It was Awal Muharam, a public holiday here. Much initial confusion. First in our calendar, it's a public holiday. Then the week before, there was a memo to say that it is a work day, the holiday is to be carried over and replaced on a day in October. Then 2 days before, another memo to announce that once again, it was a public holiday. Intended to take Kristos, my lil' cousin from Perth, Australia that Saturday but then decided at the last minute to take him on Wednesday instead. So, as you can see here, we had a splashing fun in the sun!
But then 2 days after, I fell sick... 3 in 1 ~ Cough, Cold, Fever.
18 January 2008 - A New Saga Begins
A memorable day for all of us in the company. Yes, the launch of the new Proton Saga. Kudos to the working team, especially Ezan, she being the project manager for this, and all of the other unsung heroes. More photos? Sure... lookie here.
20 January 2008 - Farewell @ KLIA
Woke up at 6.00am on a Sunday morning, in a blackout! Why? My relatives from Perth are going home. Flight is at 9.40am, which means checking in 3 hours starts at 6.40am! 3 hours at the airport hanging out in McDonald's taking our usual Big Breakfast set, refilling cups of coffee... and of course, snapping photos. See you all again in April, in Penang.
20 January 2008 - Finals of the PROTON Malaysia Open 2008
Later that afternoon, was at the Putra Stadium, Bukit Jalil for the Finals of the PROTON Malaysia Open 2008. Our very own Lee Chong Wei bagged the title for Men's Singles! Kudos! And as always, there's never a shortage of stories surrounding Malaysian badminton. I'm sure if you Google hard enough, you'll know what I'm talking about.
Right now, I'm taking a breather. Getting ready and preparing the house for Chinese New Year. Which means lots of cleaning to do to remove last year's dust and dirt (which also significantly means clearing off debts) and for the first time since we moved, we are decorating the house, decking as much red and gold as possible. But I am still not agreeable to hanging the 2 permanent tang lungs at the porch. How can I get my message across without making mum angry? Hmmm...
