Wow! Speechless...

As you can see here... I just could not wait till the weekend for an update. Better write while my adrenaline's still rushing like the rapids.

Watched the 9.00pm movie at GSC Mid Valley. Was there pretty early so collected the tickets first. Not letting any last minute mishaps get a chance to happen.

Then walked around for a bit. Went to Aussino to look for some baby stuffs. Nope. Din get anything.

Then went over to the IT World to look at my Dopod 810 'condom' and casings. My dahling has a major scratch at the back! Sob! Nope. Din get anything either.

Then rest of the time was walking, window shopping and sms-ing looking for a friend to accompany me watch a play tonight. Got one. It's on if I am able to book it later when I wake up.

Anyway, then went back to the cinema. OK. Dun think the peeps will have the time to take dinner so sms-ed Adik and asked if anyone wants popcorns.

Got them.

And the waiting begins.
...
Waited some more.
...
Waiting anxiously.
...
Where the heck are these people la?
...
Ahhh... saw Adik in a distance. Aiks? Where's the rest? Aisehman...
...
Sorry la people if I was rude and abrupt and lansi la... Happens when you have to wait and wait with popcorns and drinks and standing there alone like erm... a sampat poh la... my apologies if you're offended. Pondered and reflected on my rudeness the minute we were already walking towards the cinema... mintak ampun yah...

Anyways, back to the movie. I agree with Nicole. The movie was ORGASMIC!!! DEM COOL ler! This coming from me who was never a Transformer follower, back in the days.

I can just imagine the sponsors cashing in...
- CAMARO (must be from Japan)
- PORSCHE
- NOKIA (must also be from Japan hor...)
- VISA
- GMC
and many more... a bit obvious ler...

Ohhh... photos I grabbed from IMDB... (so me telling the obvious of me not owning any of it ok).

The BAD 'Guys' - Setting out to DESTROY!

The GOOD 'Guys'... Here to PROTECT!

Shia LaBeoud's character in this movie is sooooooo GOOD that he deserves a triple mention!

and again...

His character Sam had a "since-1st-grade-crush with classmate Mikaela played by Megan Fox.

Bernie Mac playing Bobby Bolivia trying to make a sale...

Vehicles to die for... (coming from a Point A to Point B driver hor...)
FUUYOH!!!

One is clueless... the other 'wee wong wee wong'... (showing finger with spinning gesture at head temple)...

Delicious! Yummmies!

I like this scene of him with Epps...

[Captain Lennox is trying to call the Pentagon while his men fight Scorponok]
Captain Lennox: I need a credit card! Epps, where's your wallet?
USAF Master Sgt. Epps: Pocket!
Captain Lennox: Which pocket?
USAF Master Sgt. Epps: MY BACK POCKET!
Captain Lennox: You got ten back pockets!
USAF Master Sgt. Epps: LEFT CHEEK! LEFT CHEEK! LEFT CHEEK!

Computer nerds... erm I mean ANALYSTS...

The one-and-only OPTIMUS PRIME!

One of my favourite character from Prison Break (Sucre)... seen here below with another yummy fella. Phew! I so very the understand Nicole's statement about the "I’ll turn gay for them if I’m a guy!" part! Hahaha!

The cast was well chosen, special effects were super fantastic (still hearing the "kruk-krak-krik-kruk" buzzing in my ears), and the story will make you grip to your seats, with a few loyar buruk jokes which amazingly, did not seem so loyar buruk also la... all kena nice nice.

I should think the only spoiler was...

THE WAY MEGATRON KAPUT! I was like ... HUH?!?!?! LIKE DAT ONLY AR??? SOOOOOOOO anti-climax ler...

Lucky the other 2 hour 20 minutes (out of the running time of 2 hour 21 minutes) was good. Kinda made up for the 1 MINUTE of blah-ness! Blueh!

However - I AM SO GONNA WATCH IT AGAIN!!!

Well, after the movie, nope... no Laundry Bar. It was off to Gazebo instead for a late (very late) dinner. Then everyone went home. Nope. No Genting either...

Anyway... Have to go cool down and sleep... It's like 4am ledi lor...

Oh before I forgot. While waiting to get the reference number from Adik to collect the ticket, saw this poster at the cinema foyer.

Looks pretty familiar - like the kind of movies Deepak will make. Title of the movie is Chalanggai (meaning "Dancing Bells").

And SO IT IS! Check out the DIRECTOR!!!

GOOD JOB DEEPAK!

He's a nice chap. I still remember walking to the computer lab to finish my 3D cafe assignment, crossed paths with Deepak on the way there, exchanged some friendly words, and it ended up Deepak walking back to the computer lab with me to help me (and teach me of course ler) finish up my camera angle thing for submission. That was so sweet of him. If I have not thanked you then, I'm thanking you PUBLICLY now... TENGKIU DEEPAK! Hehehe...

Next - waiting for Seng Tat pulak! Lemme know yah! I am trying to get a life here! Hehehe...

Ooopppsss... It's 4.40am ledi. Gotta go zzzzzzz... Nitey nite (erm I should think - morning liao ler...).

The weekend is here...

Initially plan - I have a long long long post to write about macam-macam etc etc etc.

Then work happened. Postponed initial plan.

Then Friday evening happened. No time to write long long long post. Gotta rush off soon.

This is where I am rushing off to.

The later the gang wanted to go hang out. Of course, Laundry Bar self-appointed ambassador wanted to go to Laundry Bar la hor.

Some crazy fella also suggested Genting.

Me being the not so crazy one suggested Seroja! Kah! Kah! Kah!

If I still got energy and sanity to update this during the weekend, will do so.

Till then, have a good weekend...

Thinking Back... and Missing You...

I was hunting high and low for my photo papers. Thought it was time to start my scrap book project. Oh, OK... found them. Now I need to print photos, collect bits and pieces of memorabilia to be included into the scrap book. So started browsing through my photo album in my portable hard drive. Saw a folder... Papa In Memory. Opened it. Saw some of the photos we took with Papa, about a year before he passed away. Regretting very much that I did not backed up ALL my digital photos in a CD or DVD. They were all wiped out when my Compaq notebook hard drive crashed on me the last time. Gone are the photos I took of us with Papa, with our family members. Photos of his wake. Photos of his funeral. Photos of us sending him off to sea. Hundreds of visual memories which I can no longer take back.

Browsing through the album, brings back lots of memories... bittersweet memories. Being the eldest, it was of course automatically my responsibility to help take care of the family affairs. Mummy was too occupied taking care of Papa. Melissa was about to sit for her SPM that year. I was in a job which I could enjoy and like, but somehow could not really be. From the time when Papa was admitted, right till the day he was discharged, my life was HOME - WORK - HOSPITAL - HOME. Hey, I'm not complaining. It was my duty, what I was suppose to do, and I thank my friends who understood and supported me the entire time. I'm grateful to my entire family for always being with us. I'm especially and deeply grateful to my cousin Abang Izal who was with us, helping us the entire time. Without him, we could not have attended better to Papa's needs when he was in the hospital. Thank you so much. This is why you are always my favourite cousin, you see.

I really really really really miss you, Papa. Sometimes when things do not go well, I am always seeking out for your advice. I always stare at your photo, the family portrait we took when I graduated. It saddens me when I think of Melissa not having the chance to take her graduation photo with you in it.

I then started buying photo frames. When IKEA had a sale, I get to buy the frames cheaper = more frames to buy. Metrojaya sale - cheaper frames. I think I buy more photo frames than clothes during these sales. After we moved to the new place, slightly after a year Papa was gone, I started my project. I looked through my entire digital album I have, and started printing out photos which I really really really like. Photos of us with friends and family. Photos of Papa with his 3 girls. Photos of cousins, aunties, uncles, friends and many more. I print them and slot them into the frames. Then I hung them on the walls. My project is far from being complete, I'm still working on it.

I bring my camera almost everywhere I go now, especially during family outings. Life is unpredictable. I try to take as many shots I can of Mummy, Melissa and myself. I try to take photos of family gatherings. I am always the kiasu one behind the camera during Chinese New Year, snapping away. I used to at one time, not happy being the one taking photos (I don't get to enjoy my reunion dinner you see). Now? My fingers automatically do the clicking. Click! Click! Click!

What am I ranting about? Sush!

Anyway, here's some photos from my Papa In Memory album - for me and whosoever is interested to glance through.

We celebrated the New Year at Parkroyal Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. This photo was taken on the 1st January 2004, about a month after Papa's operation. Oh, and this was the day I lost my previous Yahoo! account to hackers! Demmit!

Family photo. This was one of the first after a long time. And we always try to have more after this one.

Papa. Content after a huge breakfast (which was good as his appetite became much much smaller).

Papa still had time to play around with balloons. I think this one some kid dropped it and I asked Papa to pose with it. As you can see, he obliged. This photo was taken during the early days of Berjaya Times Square.

Papa at his favourite fast food joint; Long John Silver's. Could it be that he shares the same name, Johnny?

Aunty Soo came back to Malaysia (from Australia) that year (2004) to celebrate Chinese New Year with us. It was Papa's last with us.

Here's Papa trying to be cool.

But not for long...

Papa's always this cheeky, making funny faces when I ask him to pose for a photo.

Here's another one.

We took this family photo when Melissa was on her National Service (NS). Visited her at Universiti Putra Malaysia's (UPM) campus EVERY weekend.

Me with Papa and Mummy Ho.

Melissa Ho and I.

My favourite cousin, Abang Izal with Papa and Mummy Ho.

And then Melissa jumped into the frame.

Remember my poem I wrote for you, Papa?

Of course by now my initial plan to do scrap booking, has been postponed to another time. Preferably when my eyes are dry and alert.

A Short Entry

Well, I have nothing much to write about for the past few days. Been busy tweaking the blog here and there - making it look a wee bit busy. I may have overdone it though.

Anyway, I had 2 Main Grandstand tickets to the Japan GT for this weekend, but since I am not a fan, I generously gave it to a friend who would have enjoyed it much more than I would have.

Meet Nick Tai, a former BG colleague (who will be a former BG employee as well come Monday). See how happy he looks? He was actually home on MC that day but when I told him (chatted with him online) that I am giving him the tickets, he miraculously became better and we met up for dinner that night so that I can pass him the tickets (thanks for dinner, Nick).

I can imagine his face when he see all the Japanese chicks fluttering around with their painted faces and small outfits. Hehehe... Hope you had fun, Nick.

A colleague of mine was there, outside the circuit for a drift competition. I was told he did not win but there's always the next time to make it big! "Kah Yau! Kah Yau!"

Hmmm... what else? I guess that's it. Now to continue Grey's Anatomy. Sush! Don't kacau!

Huh? What the F**K?

I got a call yesterday from my credit card company, enquiring if I had made such and such transactions, which I obviously did not. So they told me that a new card will be issued and I will have to collect it at my selected branch, and fill in some kind of form which I should state the transactions I did not do. OK-lah. At least they called to let me know la kan.

When I logged in today to check the transactions just couple of minutes ago, I was like... huh? Dem a lot OK the total amount of fraud I kena incur!!!

The one blacked out IS my transaction - just didn't want you guys to know what it was ler.

GAWD! HOW I WISH I AM GOING TO ALL OF THOSE PLACES - WITH THE MEN I AM SUPPOSED TO BE MEETING ONLINE!

DEMMIT!

Reading into the Silence...

It's not what the ears may hear, more of what the eye can see.

*Blink! Blink!*

New look...

How do you like the NEW look?

Got this theme from here titled Colobri. Nice or not?

Then because I was so smart and did not save the previous settings, most of my page elements were 'gone'. So smartly spent a bulk of my day re"fix"ing the template. I assume I'm getting all almost done here, so I simply MUST post a new entry today.

Hmmm... what else can I do now?

Friday, 15 June 2007

Due for an update.

It's a Friday in the office and of course, feels like Friday! ~ Plus I'm coming down with something... Blueh!

My cousin Taha and Aunty Ton has left for Kansas last Wednesday (13th June 2007) ~ they will be reaching Kansas on Wednesday (13th June 2007)... The mechanics of timezones, you go figure it out. Hehehe...

While they were here, took Taha to IKEA's Cafe one day (I heard he has been missing IKEA's Swedish meatballs) so here's an illustration of his experience that day (forgot which day was that ler...).

LUNCHTIME! Continue after this...
------------------------------------

Back from lunch! Had food at Sakae Sushi and Baskin and Robbins famous Chocolate Mousse Royale for dessert - YUMS!

Anyways, took some photos when I stopped by Cineleisure to get movie tickets for tonight. Saw a cool ad gimmick in front of the sliding door...

What the ----? Wonder what the sign there says? Hmmm...
